Thursday smelled like winter, but nature looks like spring

Czwartek zapachniał zimą, ale przyroda wygląda wiosennie

It's quiet and sleepy in the park today, thanks to the low temperature. Fortunately, there hasn't been any snowfall, and it probably won't happen again this year, as a slow warming begins tomorrow.

W parku dzisiaj spokojnie i sennie, a to za sprawą niskiej temperatury. Na szczęści nie było i chyba już nie będzie w tym roku opadów śniegu, bo od jutra zaczyna się powolne ocieplenie.

The birds arrived today in a reduced number. There were no jackdaws, crows, or magpies. Apart from that, everything was as usual. The peanuts were delivered, and the flying crew was satiated.

Ptaszki przybyły dzisiaj w okrojonym składzie. Ni było kawek, wron i srok. A po za tym wszystko po staremu. Orzeszki dostarczone, latająca ekip nasycona.

The renovations aren't progressing at full speed, but the level of disarray in the park is starting to become irritating. There are more and more closed sections, omnipresent concrete, and disarray. The rose garden has been closed for over a month, and this week I've only seen visitors there with leaf blowers, blowing leaves from one spot to another—horrific.

Prace remontowe nie idą pełną parą, ale stopień rozpierdziuchy w parku zaczyna irytować. Przybywa pozamykanych odcinków, wszechobecny beton i nieład. Rosarium jest zamknięte od ponad miesiąca, a w tym tygodniu widziałem tam jedynie gości z dmuchawami, którzy przeganiali liście z jednego miejsca w drugi - zgroza.
