Dear Steemian lovers, we take up various professions to earn our living, there are many people among us who earn their living by working, many others do business to meet their family expenses, many others earn money by farming and run their family, we take up various professions to run our family.

In the present time, various new professions have been introduced, and many old professions have already disappeared from our midst, at one time people used to run their lives through those old professions, due to the change of times, people's professions have also changed, people's job patterns have changed, business has changed, the nature of farming has changed, now many people have taken up modern professions.

However, even in this modern era, we can see many old jobs, which we are surprised to see and think that people work very hard to earn their living, earning money to run their family is much more difficult, those old jobs seem strange to people of the present era, that's why people stare when they see those old jobs.

When I was a child, I used to see some people in our area holding a drum and announcing various things. Those things might have come from a village headman, or they would be announced on behalf of the chairman. A person would hold a drum in his hand and beat it in the village, on the streets and in the market and announce, and that was his profession.

Today, after a long time, I saw a man of this old profession, who held a drum in his hand and was walking through the village and beating it and making announcements. Seeing him reminded me of those old memories, so I stopped him for a while and talked to him for a long time, and collected some pictures of him, beating the drum and making announcements in the village.

Currently, the campaign for the national election is going on in our Bangladesh, the passenger election will be held on February 12th, an election rally has been organized in a village around that event, this person is announcing that rally by playing the drum, he has been appointed for a day, he will continue to announce in the village by playing the drum for a day, and will promote that election rally.

After talking to him, I found out that they do this work traditionally, his grandfather used to do this work, then his father used to work, now he does this work, he is appointed for a day, on this day an area is assigned to him, he starts announcing on a specific issue in that area by playing the drum, in return he gets a fee, currently from 800 to 1000 taka per day.

It was great to see people from such a strange and old profession after a long time. Nowadays, no announcements are made by beating drums, but rather announcements are made on various topics through microphones or digital channels. It was great to see people from exceptional professions. That's why I shared this with you. I hope you like it too.
